Green is not associated w/ police or emergency thats why i get away with it, besids EVERYONE tries to have blue or purple. I like the green, it's different.
: More power to you. IMO, I would not remove existing functionality from the car, ie (high beams). Why don't you get those cruising bulbs people put in their rides. Its just another bulb that runs all the time. I would also recommend getting them in blue. I think its a more matching color.
